East Harlem welcomed an engaging, new neighbor in 2010; Manhattan's first ever Target. ExtraExtra was responsible for introducing Target to their new neighbors in an intimate and organic way. By gathering a group of some of Harlem's most notable tastemakers and influencers, including designers Ruben and Isabel Toledo and chef Marcus Samuelsson who have since collaborated with Target, we helped form new relationships between Target and the community. Target hosted prominent members of the community to dinner parties produced by ExtraExtra at local Harlem establishments. These neighborhood events highlighted Target's shared core values of community and family and brought brand awareness to the influencers and the community at large.
